Hopi Women's Conference 2011
Dear friends and faithful prayer warriors,
Words cannot properly express our gratitude for your faithful and powerful covering and prayers for the Hopi Women's Conference! We had such victory and experienced God at a level of intimacy that I've never felt before.
We were blessed to have as many as 37 women at some of the sessions and we were able to pray for so many and witnessed 6 people be baptized - 5 for the first time and one in a show of re-dedication to her walk and calling. There were times of much travail and intense prayer and many faced many things from their past and were healed of many wounds. On Friday we focused on inner healing and Pat Walker spoke about many things that we have all faced - violence and domestic violence in our families and among our people. The warfare was very intense and the enemy did everything physically possible to hinder and even stop the dvd's from being played and the wind picked up so much that it howled outside and the windows and doors rattled and the floor even shook at one point. But even though the picture faded in and out the sound of the people's testimonies continued uninterrupted and the message that God wanted heard was carried to the women! After they heard the message many were healed of many things that had been hidden - for some since they were very young!
We had such times of intimacy together and on both Friday and Saturday evenings we had times of celebration and freedom that we even saw the women shouting, singing, dancing and waiving flags - a first for many of them! The worship was such a time of closeness with the Lord and at times many had tears of joy streaming down their faces as the Lord ministered to them through the music - especially the violin music brought forth by brother Dan and the beautiful voices of the singers of the worship team - Sword of Fire.
Our men volunteered tirelessly cooking all of our meals and interceding for us both in the building and even taking a trip to one of the high places to pray for us which we know is one of the reasons we were able to press in again and again.
Your prayers which went out worldwide were the basis and the shield that kept us hidden from the enemy's attacks and without them we would not have been able to accomplish all that the Father was able to do. We want to thank you over and over again for your faithfulness to us and the Hopi women! I will forward a few pictures when I get them downloaded.
