Gary is of Cherokee Indian heritage. His heritage traces back to the Old Settlers of Alabama who moved to Missouri prior to the tribes being forced out of Alabama. From Missouri, his family moved to Winthrop, WA. Gary was born in Brewster and grew up in a farming community. He met his wife Pat at a mission’s conference in Western Washington. Pat is of Creek Indian heritage and French Descent. Pat & Gary are the founders of Firestarters Ministries. They have a blended family of 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
Gary’s educational background is in horticulture. He surrendered his life to the Lord in 1972 and in time the Lord moved him to the Colville Indian Reservation. On Colville, he ministered with preaching, teaching, praying and helping anyway he could to win souls and help the people with their walk. Upon completion of
training through Victory Life Ministries, he became ordained. He traveled to Honduras to minister at three different pastor’s conferences. Presently, Gary is ordained through the Missionary Church International and Fellowship Christian Ministries International.
Gary has many spiritual gifts. One of which is preaching with the anointing of understanding. He is gifted in the areas of teaching, exhorting and bringing forth new works as the Lord leads. He brings stability to souls when he prays because of God’s truth and love. Gary has a pastor’s heart making him a strong nurturer. He desires all to be saved.
Gary has worked with many native people in the Northwest including Canada. He starts prayer and ministers the work of the God at churches and various gatherings as the Lord leads. He is in agreement with the power of God to bring forth his Native American brothers and sisters into their position of authority and destiny for this crucial hour.
