Breaking of the Dawn 2012: Breaking of the Dawn…Arrival of a New Day Potlatch August, 2012 hosted by Firestarters at the Pentecostal Church on the Muckleshoot Reservation. 1000 attended and tribes from all over the US and people from other countries attended. The event was passed on to Siletz, OR to host the next Potlatch to Honor the Creator.
August 2010 Praise Reports: Titus Upham from Blackfeet Nations says First Nations Embassy of Faith Ministries in Browning is being blessed. The buildings are almost finished for the Youth Camp and they had an great conference in May on the Flathead Indian Reservation.
Angelia Strong from the Yakama Nation says the Wanda & Thompson Sampson's Yakama Camp meeting in July was the best ever. People from Peyote, Traditional, Shaker, Longhouse, as well as those who didn't believe anything came each night and received prayer! God moved mightily. Also, she gives God the glory for her relative being cancer free! Central Region Gathering Praise Report: Thank you for your prayers! We give God the praise and glory for blessings our time of worship, prayer, and fellowship at the Central Region gathering held at Steilacoom Tribal Cultural Center & Museum. The prayer network continues to grow with new people attending the gathering and desiring to be a part of the "large prayer network". It's always a blessings to hear the leaders from various areas & involvements speak. This time, too, a visiting pastor from Alaska not only shared her prayer requests but also blessed us with songs sung in her native tongue. We hope to have more share their gifts as time goes on...isn't this what relationship is about...praying for each other...sharing our gifts God has blessed us with...and hearing the hearts of our brothers and sisters.

Brother Thompson's Birthday Party: May 4, we traveled with the Garcia's to the Yakama Nation to attend Brother Thompson's birthday party at Toppenish. It was a grand party with much sharing, testifying, lots of food and fellowship. That evening we attended a powerful prayer meeting that lasted for four hours. We prayed for the specific needs of the Yakama people, the other nations within this nation, and for individual prayer needs. The next day, again more prayer with our hostess Kathy and then home.
Southeast Regional Meeting Praise Report: Our 3 day Southeast Regional meeting held in Wapato for the Native Prayer Network was a huge success. We took a team of 17 people. We found much, much favor and God opened the door for more meetings on the Yakama Reservation and even in other regions of the state. We connected with many of the native spiritual leaders of the area. Thanks so much for your prayers!!!
God is moving and his army is growing! After presenting the network, one man said, "If they can do it on the coast, we can do it here." We also received a word that the "network" would not only be in this state but would go across the US into Canada and even include foreign countries...which was confirmation. We are receiving many awesome praise reports about prayer groups starting up and how God is already answering prayers. |
