From Colville....On June 1, the Colville Confederated Tribes and the Okanogan Nation of Canada will be protesting at Nighthawk, WA. The US & Canadian Governments want the two tribes to surrender their Indigenous
Sovereignty which allows them to cross the border freely. The Jay Treaty, the 49th parallel agreement of 1846, recognized the people as being one. |
