Native Dance Ministry

<<Prev  Firestarters Ministries October 2009  Next>>

Wow! Again an awesome month for Firestarters Ministries.

The NW Native Women’s Conference on Muckleshoot was a big success! The theme of community truly prevailed. Psalm 133:1 “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.” About 300 women from as far as Arizona attended. The speakers were great with excellent topics including domestic violence, forgiveness, marriage, and 55+. Pat did the workshop on domestic violence and also danced. The ladies had a fun time of free haircuts, manicures, massages, makeovers, exercise techniques, scrap booking and shopping at the vendors’ booths. Brenda Hamilton and family did worship, bringing in a new song. The conference was a super time of spiritual renewal, good teaching, new friends plus more prayer warriors for the Native Prayer Network. There is strong consideration for a NW Native Women and Men’s Conference…mark your calendars for the second weekend in October, 2010. Thanks you all for your prayers… healing and reconciliation came forth.

Also in October, we ministered are Gethsemane Ministries in Shelton. Powerful! The Holy Spirit was all over that meeting… men and women dancing in the spirit, anointed testimonies… a great time!

Summit Christian Church invited Gary & Pat to be part of their harvest celebration including Pat‘s dance.

We were invited to TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network) to a special dinner. Carolyn from Glory Riders in California spoke and asked Pat to participate in reconciliation for the natives and to dance. Later, we were invited to travel with other ministers and pastors in a limo to attend the Benny Hinn meeting in Seattle. We accepted the invitation… there were three limos taking pastors to his meeting.

Pat did a teaching on Marriage and Families for the Trail of Peace All Tribes Bible School. The executive director is Paula Mahawom. The DVD’s will present the Bible by natives to natives to be circulated across the United States to all reservations. A previous DVD has Pat dancing for the Lord in her regalia.

A new church in being started on Portland Avenue on the Puyallup. Firestarters Ministries is covering the church in prayer and participation as needed.

We continue to host our Monday night prayer gatherings, maintain the Native Prayer Network, oversee the care of our moms, and love on our grandkids when our & their schedules allow.

Blessings to you all and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

In HIS service, for HIS glory…
