Reverend
Gary Walker
Gary is of Cherokee Indian heritage and a descendant of President John Quincy
Adams, Jr. During John Quincy Adams, Jr's presidency the Indian Removal Act that greatly affected the Cherokees and the other tribes of the
east was stopped. Interesting that the two family lines would one day join! Gary was born in Brewster, WA and grew up in a farming community. His parents were farmers. He met his wife, Pat at a missions conference in Western Washington. She is of Creek Indian heritage and French Descent. Together they have 6 children and 10 grandchildren.
Gary’s educational background is in horticulture. He surrendered his life to the Lord in 1972 and in time the Lord moved him to the Colville Indian Reservation. Where he ministered…preaching, teaching, and helping any way he could to win souls and help them with their walk. During this time he became ordained through Victory Life Ministries and was invited to Honduras to minister at three pastor’s conferences. Presently, Gary is ordained through the Missionary Church International and Fellowship Christian Ministries International.
Gary has many spiritual gifts, one of which is preaching with the anointing of understanding. He is gifted in the areas of teaching, exhorting and bringing forth new works as the Lord leads.
He brings stability to souls when
he prays because of God’s truth and love. Gary has a pastor’s heart making him a strong nurturer. He desires all to be saved.
Gary has worked with many native people in the Northwest including Canada. He starts prayer and ministers the work of God at churches and various gatherings as the Lord leads. He is in agreement with the power of God to bring forth
his Native American brothers and sisters into their positions of authority and destiny for this crucial hour.
